Kate Emery
With over three decades dedicated to the art of painting, Kate Emery continually falls in love with different aspects of the relationship – the color, the play of light, the story, the journey, the craft, and the sense of community that art fosters.
She is drawn to themes that evoke the courage, beauty, and struggles of human compassion. Lately, resulting from the hyper-volatile world we're living in, Kate finds herself wanting to pull back the lens a bit and rest in the beauty and comfort found in nature. She finds peace in vistas of earth, sky, and sea, existing in perfect equilibrium untouched by human interference.
Kate feels very grateful to able to paint almost daily and to give back, she donates 50% of her proceeds to organizations dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the world.
A curated selection of Kate’s exquisite works will be on display through March 2024 at The Investors Center, 70 East Main St. in Avon.
