The Investors Center Hosts Community Shredding Event
[Avon, CT] – The Investors Center, Inc. will join Goldman Sachs to sponsor a free community shredding event Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at its 70 East Main Street location. InfoShred will be on hand with their on-site document destruction mobile unit.
Community members are invited to bring up to two grocery bags or file boxes of personal and confidential items such as receipts, invoices, and statements to be shredded in a secure manner. Paper clips, staples and file folders will go through the shredder, but do not bring CDs, three-ring binders, cardboard, film, X-ray films, hard drives, or laminated or plastic sheet covers. Again, please limit the number of bags and file sized boxes to two per person.
The Investors Center will also be collecting non-perishable food items for Avon’s Gifts of Love. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items to be donated.
