As a Certified Financial Planner™, Eliot upholds the rigorous standards of ongoing continuing education. He boasts a portfolio of industry licenses, including securities registration as a registered principal and registered representative with RJFS, and holds insurance licenses across multiple states. Additionally, Eliot is Partnership Certified for Long Term Care by the State of Connecticut.
Eliot is one of the select group of professionals nationwide to earn the Certified Agingin-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation. This credential identifies him as a Financial Advisor with the skills and knowledge necessary to remodel or modify a home to meet the unique needs of the older population, disabled owners, or visitors. His membership in the National Aging In Place Council (NAIPC) and The MIT AgeLab Longevity Council further underscores his commitment to this specialized field.
Beyond these distinctions, Eliot is actively involved in various professional groups, including the Financial Planning Association, the Hartford CFA Society, the CFA Institute, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the Estate & Business Planning Council of Greater Hartford. A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Finance, Eliot has also pursued graduate studies in taxation at the University of Hartford.
