For over 30 years, Eliot has helped clients achieve their financial goals by developing the right questions to elicit their hopes and dreams and turn them into actionable plans. Eliot and Kathy Weissberg specifically created The Investors Center, Inc. and through Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), offer an independent platform for quality planning and investment services, particularly for clients with complex needs.

Eliot is a Certified Financial Planner professional. This designation requires rigorous certification and continuing education, and emphasizes the value he places on professional involvement and development.

Eliot holds numerous industry licenses, including securities registration as a registered principal and as a registered representative with RJFS, along with insurance licenses from a number of states. He is Partnership Certified for Long Term Care by the State of Connecticut. Eliot is one of the select group of professionals nationwide to earn the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation, identifying him as a Financial Advisor with the skills and knowledge necessary to remodel or modify a home to meet the unique needs of the older population, disabled owners or their visitors.

He belongs to various professional groups, such as the Financial Planning Association, the Hartford CFA Society, the CFA Institute, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the Estate & Business Planning Council of Greater Hartford. A University of Connecticut graduate, Eliot earned his B.S. in Finance and completed graduate work in taxation at the University of Hartford.
