Community Shredding Event – April 25, 2026
Free Community Shredding Day Hosted by The Investors Center

The Investors Center, Inc. will host a free community shredding event Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm at 70 East Main Street in Avon. The event is co-sponsored by MFS and Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
Infoshred will provide secure on site document shredding through their on-site document destruction mobile unit.
Community members are invited to bring up to two grocery bags or file sized boxes of personal documents for safe disposal. Paper clips, staples and file folders will go through the shredder, but do not bring CDs, three-ring binders, cardboard, film, X-ray films, hard drives, or laminated or plastic sheet covers. Again, please limit the number of bags and file sized boxes to two per person.
Accepted items include receipts, invoices, statements, and similar paper materials. Small metal items such as paper clips, staples, and file folders may remain attached.
Please do not bring CDs or DVDs, three ring binders, cardboard, X ray films, hard drives, laminated or plastic covers.
The Investors Center will collect non perishable food items to benefit Avon’s Gifts of Love. Donations are greatly appreciated.
